Our Story
Our company began in 1993, when Chef of Coffee Jeremy Gursey began serving his coffee creations to celebrities on TV and movie sets. Gursey is obsessed with creating the perfect cup of coffee and has traveled the world as the personal coffee chef to some of Hollywood's elite. Having studied under master roasters, world-champion baristas and top chefs, Gursey applies his culinary knowledge to each distinctive blend.
J. Gursey Coffee Roasters manufactures and provides fine coffees and teas. Offering organic and conventional varieties, all of our coffee and tea products are fair trade certified. Our green coffee beans are sourced from a limited supply of the highest quality beans available. Our Rain Forest Alliance Certified Brazilian and Peruvian coffees promote sustainability and agriculture within the Rain Forest community to aid in protecting both the environment and workers' rights. Our loose leaf teas are brokered from the top tier estates in Asia, India, Egypt and Morocco. We purchase all of our green teas directly from a family-owned Japanese tea plantation that has a rich history of cultivating green teas for more than 200 years. J. Our company creates and oversees custom coffee and tea programs for restaurant groups, hotels, Fortune 500 companies and celebrity clientele. Through integration and collaboration with our clients, J. Gursey Fine Coffee & Tea endeavors to create distinguished coffee and tea programs for the hospitality industry. Our company is the provider of coffee and tea for over 30 different sbe venues; including SLS Las Vegas, Katsuya by Starck, Cleo, Umami Burger and The Abbey.
